Bachelor degree in Law from the University of Cairo in 1969. |
- 1969 served as a first-class prosecuting attorney in the general prosecution of Ministry of Justice.
- From 1971 to 1975 appointed as a judge and assigned to work at the same time as director of the administration of the experts at Ministry of Justice, in addition to the original post as a judge in the High Court.
- From 1975 to 1981 moved from the Ministry of Justice to the Diwan of staff (Civil Service Commission now) where he served as Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs.
- From 1981 to 1986 served as Attorney General of the Ministry of Justice.
- From 1986 until 1991 served as Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs.
- From 1991 to 1992 served as Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, and delegated for heading the Civil Service Council.
- From 1992 to 1993 served as Second Vice Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs, that was the first for such post from outside the ruling family in Kuwait's history.
- 1993 resignation accepted for health reasons, and appointed as an advisor at Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
- During the ministerial position, he participated as a member of a number of delegations that attended the summits of some Gulf, Arab and Islamic countries, as well as his participation in a number of delegations that made official tours in the Arab and Asian States.
- Participating in a number of meetings of the Council of Arab Ministers of Justice, also preparing for the Arab Justice Ministers Conference that was held in Kuwait in 1987 under the patronage of His Highness the late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
- During working at the Staff Commission with his colleague Assistant Undersecretary for career planning at the Staff Commission Mr. / Meshary Jassim Al-Anjari, he made a draft of the law and the civil service system that was discussed with the Council's Legislative Committee of the Cabinet of Ministers until issued on 4 / April 1979.
- Participating in several symposia and seminars that were organized after the issuance of civil service legislation.
- He had already participated in the membership of the Board of Directors of the Football Federation 1978 to 1980.
- Currently chairing the Egyptian-Kuwaiti Friendship Committee that’s formed under the umbrella of the Amiri Diwan.
- Currently participating in the Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
